1) Metal frame with gold velvet. White haired man with rolled up paper.

2 & 3) Matching black wood frames with acorn motif at top. Sixth plates. Young girl with flowers. Woman seated, with hand on chin. She holds a pen which rests on a book.

4) Fancy wood frame, with passe-partout interior, of a couple seated, arm in arm.

5) Oval. Father and two children, with a squirming dog. Half plate.

6) Oval. Lady with sparkling jewelry. Half plate. SIGNED ON PLATE, at lower right edge: "A. Gouin." Label on back: "DAGUERREOTYPE COLORIE... A. GOUIN... PARIS." Handwritten on the label: "Juillet 1851."

7) Black wood frame. Man looks like George Curtis (but not him).

8) Black wood frame. Woman with bottleneck curls. Quarter plate.

9) Oval wood. Older woman with lace and bonnet. Rosy face. Sixth plate.

10) Small stand with velvet and metal. Older lady puffy sleeves. Ninth plate.

Condition:(1) Very good. Weeping glass. (2) Scratches at left. (3) Vertical scratches. (4) A couple of brown spots. (5) Some spots and scuffs, but good. (6) One noticeable scratch. Oxidation. (7) Spots on his face. Wipes. (8) Wipes all over. (9) Spots. (10) Wipes all over.
