This summer, Cowan's is offering two Fine and Decorative Art, Including Americana live auctions: The Live Discovery Auction on Friday, June 7 offers nearly 600 items that span many decorative arts categories, including furniture, fine art, textiles, porcelain, glass, rugs, and many more. The sale includes consignments from many of the same collections and consignors that are featured in the June 8 Premier Auction. In-person bidding is available for this auction.

On Saturday, June 8, the Premier Auction features over 450 lots of fine art, furniture, silver, rugs, glass, Folk Art, and advertising. The sale includes many notable items including a a large Baltimore Needlework Sampler and the sampler collection of the late Kenneth and Barbara Gruver (Germantown, Ohio), an important Cincinnati Art-Carved Cabinet by Henry and William Fry , a William IV Barnard & Sons Silver Epergne, fine and rare examples of match safes from the noted Match Safe Collection of David and Holiday Winfield, a pair of Louis XV Gilt Bronze Sconces, a landscape by Edward Beyer, a variety of early toys, art pottery, and much more.
