The Summer American Indian Art: Timed Auction features objects from the collection of Harriet and Seymour Koenig, New York and William H. Saunders, M.D. and Putzi Saunders, Ohio as well as items deaccessioned from the Hopewell Museum, Hopewell, New Jersey and the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. This auction includes a collection of Inuit works on paper, pottery, Navajo textiles, Plains material, a selection of contemporary Native American Art and Western Art, and much more!

Timed Auction
Special Collections items are available for absentee bidding only. You can browse the catalog and place bids at any time.

Absentee Bidding
This platform operates using the "proxibid" method - you may place a high bid and the system will bid on your behalf up to that limit.

5-Minute Closing Rule
Starting at 12:00 PM (Noon) on the Final Date, all lots will close starting with lot #1. There will be a 1 minute period between each item until all items close.

Extended Bidding
Any bids placed within 5 minutes of the closing time will extend bidding by another 5 minutes. This rule will apply continuously until no bids are placed within the 5 minute period.

Email Notification
You will receive an email notification:
-each time you place a bid
-when you are outbid on any lot
-at the close of the auction if you are the high bidder

End of the Auction
