Overview

The March 1-March 8 Timed American Historical Ephemera and Photography Auction features a fine selection of photographs, manuscripts, imprints, posters, and ephemera dating from the 18th through the 20th century, with themes such as African Americana, the Civil War, Indian Wars, politics in America, and Western Americana represented. This sale brings together property from several important collections, most notably naval documents and manuscripts from the Richard B. Cohen Civil War Collection, World War I and II posters from a Midwestern Art Museum, and a remarkable selection of 19th and 20th-century political imprints and ephemera from the Collection of Tom Charles Huston.

This auction is held exclusively on hindmanauctions.com and the Hindman app, with bidding accepted from March 1 through March 8. Unlike “Live and Online” or “Online” auctions, bidders are notified should their maximum absentee bid be outbid and are given the opportunity to raise their bid amount. In-Person and Telephone bids are not accepted for this auction.
