27.5" curved, single-edged clip point blade, 1.5" wide at ricasso. 5" grooved, cast iron hilt, double-disc guard pattern with oval knuckle-bore and rolled quillon. Reverse blade stamped with P inspection, with US on bottom of knuckle bow. US mark appears spurious.

French Model 1833 Short Sword

19" spear point blade. Brass handle on the top of the pommel is engraved CSA. These French swords were imported and used by the Confederate Artillery. The markings appear to be genuine and have been there a long time. Nice patination down in the markings with an even look. Leather scabbard with brass tip and throat.

Danish Model 1867 Rolling Block Rifle

11.7x42R, 35.375" round barrel secured by three spring-retained bands, S/N 63300. Blued finish, smooth walnut stock. Upper tang marked with the Copenhagen Arsenal marks and dated "1883." Barrel bands with Danish crown marks, reverse of receiver with crowned Danish markings and M-1867. Brass unit ID disk on obverse stock reads "3AB/1409." Retains the original long range military leaf rear sight, the drift adjustable front sight, saber bayonet lug, both sling swivels and the jag head cleaning rod. These rifles were produced on license from Remington in Denmark by the Danes for military use and were originally chambered for a rimfire cartridge. Most were later altered to center fire for the 11.7x42R cartridge, as is this example.

27.25" triangular blade, .75"wide at ricasso. Cast brass hilt with single rear quillon and checkered wood grip. Grip cast with floral forms throughout. Blade shows traces of engraving and previous gilding with very faint "Solingen" in script on forte with nearly illegible maker's name on obverse of forte. No scabbard.
