This winter, Cowan's is offering two Fine and Decorative Art, Including Americana live auctions auctions: The Live Discovery Auction on Friday, February 22 offers over 300 items that span many decorative arts categories, including furniture, fine art, textiles, porcelain, glass, rugs, and many more. The sale includes consignments from many of the same collections and consignors that are featured in the February 23 Premier Auction. In-person bidding is available for this auction.

On Saturday, February 23, the Premier Auction features nearly 400 lots of fine art, furniture, silver, rugs, glass, Folk Art, and advertising. The sale includes many notable items including a a large sand bottle by Andrew Clemens, a rare Shenandoah Valley Blanket Chest decorated by Johanes Spitler, English and American paintings of spaniels from a private collection, fine and rare examples of match safes from the noted Match Safe Collection of David and Holiday Winfield, a selection of art pottery, a variety of Tiffany Studios items, period weathervanes; and much more.
