Cowan's January 30 – February 10 American Historical Ephemera and Photography: Timed Online Auction features a vast assortment of historical material including manuscripts, documents, photographs, textiles, and other artifacts representing some of the most important events and eras in American History, from the Colonial Period to the 20th Century. As always, this auction is comprised of an abundance of early photography, including some fine daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes, and union cases from the Marvin Lieber Collection of Early Photographica; an array of Civil War material, including soldiers’ letters, printed documents, and artistic representations of battles on paper and silver; and a wide variety of political and patriotic ephemera, including flags, campaign ribbons and buttons, presidential signatures, and a bounty of beautifully framed engravings and lithographs of Abraham Lincoln from the Mr. and Mrs. Jack L. Smith Collection of Lincolniana. 5-Minute Closing Rule
Starting at 12:00 PM (Noon) on the Final Date, all lots will close starting with lot #1. There will be a 1 minute period between each item until all items close.
Any bids placed within 5 minutes of the closing time will extend bidding by another 15 minutes. This rule will apply continuously until no bids are placed within the 5 minute period.
You will receive an email notification:
-each time you place a bid
-when you are outbid on any lot
-at the close of the auction if you are the high bidder
End of the Auction
