BEATIEN YAZZI GOUACHE OF NAVAJO FIRE DANCER

The dance, also known as the Corral Dance, is performed around a fire and on the final night of the Mountainway ceremony, sight 13.75 in. x 19 in. Label on reverse claims this is an Apache dance, however it is Navajo. See: Sturtevant, William C. 1983. Handbook of North American Indians: Southwest10: Smithsonian Institution: Washington, 611.
