.30-06 caliber, 24" heavy round barrel, S/N 1248829. Beautiful stock has cartouche on the left side with DAL in a rectangular box and P in a circle on the forward side of the pistol grip. The front sight is milled from the barrel. This rifle was recently featured in the Martial Arms Collector Magazine.
Condition: This is an 85-90% gun. One of the rarest of the heavy barreled Springfield rifles. Bore is excellent. Rifle is totally original and not a parts rifle.
