2008, Fall Firearms Sale, Oct 28 & 29
with 4.25" single-edged steel blade with clipped end, stamped on left ricasso Dunham/Carrigan/& Hayden Co./San Francisco, with 0.25" nickel collar and carved and cross-hatched ebony grip attached with nickel rivet; total length 8.5".

Dunham, Carrigan & Hayden Co. was a hardware wholesaler in San Francisco from 1875-1946 and this knife is certainly from the 19th century.
