Philadelphia Percussion Deringer Pistol,
2006, Firearms and Early Militaria Auction, Dec 7
.44 caliber, 2.5" barrel length, stamped on top flat of barrel at breech region Derringer Philadelphia. On left flat stamped with P proof. German silver hardware, band at breech and escutcheon. Walnut stock.

Condition:  
Barrel has a nice smooth dark brown look. Lock and hammer have a dark brown look with crisp engraving. Trigger guard, side plates and both forearm inlays are engraved as well. All German silver hardware has never been touched and has a deep mellow uncleaned look. The wood stock is all original with no chips or cracks and void of any original oil finish. A very sharp and untouched piece that is all original.
