TWO FINE PORCELAIN TAU HANDLED CANES

Lot of 2. Includes a nice black transfer printed tau handled example with figure of a young classically attired woamn in forest setting. Handle is 1.5" high x 3" long with coin silver .75" collar, mounted on a segmented bamboo shaft with 1" nickel & steel ferrule. Total length 32". Second porcelain handle is 1.5" high x 3" long with gilt on black & white stripped ground with polychrome transfer print of courting couple in oval panel on top. Mounted on a cane shaft with 1.5" brass & steel ferrule. Total length 35.75".

Condition:  
!st minor wear to original finish. Second missing collar, nice original finish to shaft.
