Advertising the auction of land in what would have been considered an up-and-coming location along the important early north-south highway route U.S. 21 near "Springs New Plant," referring to the Springs textile mill that would become one of the largest in the South. Featuring images of the auctioneers, the top-hatted Penny Brothers of Charlotte, the "World's Original Twin Auctioneers."
