Italian, ca 1850s, a pair showing group of ships in Naples harbor; one, a daylight painting, the other nearly the same scene at dusk with Vesuvius erupting in background. Of the warships, one is American; others are British, French, Italian and more; 14 x 21.5 in.

Both with tears, missing paper. Paper laid down.
