Department of the Interior, Bureua of Pensions document certifying that Thomas Holland, who was a Captain Co. H. 14th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry is entitled to a pension at the rate of Twelve dollars per month to commence on the fourteenth day of April 1891, deducting payment maade since April 14, 1891 on Certificate No. 1561 as Mexican War Survivor. This pension being for "Left hernia complete and senile disability.". Dated April 26, 1892 and signed by Acting Secretary of the Interior Geo. Chandler and with the embossed seal of the department. 8" x 10.5", tri-fold.
