.50-70 caliber, 36" round burnish bright barrel. Model 1870 rifle rear sight. Case colored frame with eagle and U.S. Springfield 1872 markings. Walnut buttstock and fore end. ESA cartouche. Remington markings on upper tang.

Condition:  
Frame retains ca 98% original case colors. Barrel, bands and buttplate are burnished white and may have been very lightly cleaned. Rifle has a crisp, mint look.
