Two WWI Model Planes,
2005, Furniture and Decorative Arts / Oct 7 - 8
well-detailed, handmade model aircraft constructed of wood, tin and wire. Both having hand-carved wooden fuselages and propellers and attached tin wings. The first, a German Fokker DR.1, painted red with hand-painted insignias and details; 3.5" high x 6.5" long x 8" wingspan; AND a German Fokker E.IV Variant, painted in shades of brown with hand-painted insignias and details; 3" high x 9" long x 10.5" wingspan.

Condition:  
Both have wear, paint flaking.
