CDV of Captain Leander Clark, 124th New York

CDV by “Whitddit & Coffin, Newburgh, N.Y.” Complete pencil identification on verso with added “A. Van Horn Ellis, Colonel.’ Clark joined as Company I. commander in August 1862 and was discharged for disability in May 1863. The regiment was bombarded at Fredericksburg, marched in the “Mud” and fought at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg with the 3rd Corps. VG with minor mottling at borders.
