Lot of 4, including: a sixth plate tintype of a seated cavalry soldier confidently displaying his sword, housed in a crossed cannons thermoplastic case under a Union / '76 / '61 mat; a sixth plate tintype of a soldier, also with sword, standing in front of a painted military camp backdrop, housed in a brown grape cluster Union case; a ninth plate tintype of bearded soldier armed with a rifle, housed in a Union Forever case; and a ninth plate ruby ambrotype of Civil War soldier wearing a sergeant's jacket and displaying a straight sword, housed in cannon, tent & flag Union case under a Constitution and Union mat.

Condition:  
First is excellent. Second with craquelure and minor surface loss on the soldier's chest. Third and fourth both very good with minor surface loss at mat edges. All cases with hinges and clasps intact.
